How does ones site have to be named or configured so that it opens up to the front page when you type www.mysite.com, not www.mysite.com/index.html or www.mysite.com/home.html? I’m using GoDaddy…

I don’t want a pre-fixed template. I need at least some flexibility. But I’ve used Microsoft Publisher 2007, and the page won’t load. To ask Microsoft a question about it will cost me over $250, which is ridiculous. I’m creating a webpage that will need e-commerce, and less than 10 pages of info, I think. I’m new to this. Help!

I have a homepage, and I want to link an image on my homepage, to another page that is part of the website. So for example: I am on the homepage, and I want to go to the media page, I simply click it.
