Trouble With My Godaddy Website?

Monday, March 1st, 2010

I have a website through godaddy.com which I created in MS Publisher. On some web browsers, my links and pictures are not showing up. I contacted godaddy and they said it was a problem with the computer not the website. I have a hard time believing that because my husband keeps his computer in PERFECT condition and we can’t see the links or pictures on it. How do I make my complete website viewable to everyone?

Should I Use Godaddy Or Networksolutions To Set Up My Website? Which Is Better?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

i have no experience with network solutions but godaddy is very easy to use and has AMAZING customer services and a very fast response time to questions not to mention comes with lots of useful tools to get you started. this is assuming it is for a personal website that you alone are running. if you are running one for say a company or will have other people working on it I would imagine godaddy is not the best solution. they are more geared to the individual web designed

How Can I Take A Domain Name I Purchased From Godaddy (it Is Currently Parked) And Host It On Hostgator.com?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

in your godaddy admin panel, for your domain you should be able to set the “Nameservers”.
From your hostgator hosting, they should tell you what your nameservers are. It will be something like NS1.NAMESERVER.COM. You will have two nameservers. Go into the godaddy page and put these name servers to replace the ones with godaddy.
Godaddy i think is like PARK##.SECURESERVER.NET
Once you replace that the domain will look for your hosting at HostGator.

Other Than Godaddy, Where Can I Get A Domain Name And Host For Cheap?

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Don’t trust dishonest claims like “Best web hosting only $1 /month” or “Get the cheapest web hosting without sacrificing quality and features!!”. Take into consideration that some hosting companies are cheating and lying to their customers. It is very important that your service be uptime (functioning and available for use) . It means you can access your account whenever you want to update your web pages, and users can enter your website whenever they refer to your site address. If your hosting service is not uptime it can be catastrophic!
If your website is not a business site (is personal), you can refer to this cheap, reliable service:http://www.goldpuma.com
As an experienced web master, I’m sure GoldPuma would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
Hope this helps.
