Monday, February 8th, 2010I bought a one year domain name, in the confirmation email it said i had free email but when i went on to the site it said i had to pay.

1) If you’re using an @yahoo.com email address you simply can’t transfer that to GoDaddy. If you are hosting your own domain through Yahoo currently and are going to move to GoDaddy, then see #2
2) Switching hosts will mean needing to update your DNS which can take some times – few hours to a day? While the changes are propagating some requests for yourdomain.com will be sent to yahoo’s servers with others will go to GoDaddy.
